I am a faculty member in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting at the W. A. Franke College of Business, Northern Arizona University. My research focuses on policy-relevant topics, specifically in entrepreneurship, health insurance, and their effects on labor supply. In addition, I explore statistical estimation methods, big data, and machine learning.
I have taught a variety of courses, including Intermediate Macroeconomics, Intermediate Business Statistics, and Introduction to Business Statistics. I also teach Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Business Calculus, and Statistics for Engineers, as well as math courses ranging from Intermediate Algebra to Partial Differential Equations.
